The location of this holiday cottage is exceptional. A private track cuts across fields of grazing sheep (be sure to shut the gates) to three very well kept holiday cottages nestled together within the stone walled curtilage of what used to be the original farmhouse.
The stunning, sandy beach has been given the blue flag status again this year which is testament to it’s un-spoilt nature and cleanliness. The UNESCO world heritage site of Harlech is a short drive along the coast and affords a good selection of charming cafes, pretty shops and the famous Castle of course. Barmouth, a little closer to the south, is a traditional Victorian seaside town that is home to a number of lively pubs and restaurants.
There are lots of fun things to do in the area. Small local operators are happy to take adventurous guests gorge walking down the Nantcol River or paddle boarding up the Mawddach estuary. While a number of larger activity providers such as Zip World, Coed Y Brenin Mountain Bike Centre and Surf Snowdonia are attracting attention from around the world.
